Thomas Sowell has it right again in this op-ed. Thomas Sowell- Race and Resentment
Race relations have not improved since Obama became president and many would argue they have worsened.
In this piece, Sowell writes “While Obama's winning the majority of the votes in overwhelmingly white states suggests that many Americans are ready to move beyond race, it is painfully clear that others are not.”
The “others” he is generally referring to are not what the media nor would the Liberals like you to believe.

Did your pencil break when you wrote this?:
ReplyDelete"Race relations have not improved since Obama became president and many would argue they have worsened."
The tea bag sect does every thing in its power to worsen relations, then says: Look! Race relations are not improving.
Perhaps we need to pray harder?
The quote referenced was by Dr. Thomas Sowell. I can only assume New Albanian did not take the time to read the linked article. To bad, and spending some time reading Dr. Sowell's many books and columns would be enlightening also, but it is much easier to go on believing what you want to be true and not be objective about factual evidence. Dr. Sowell has written extensively on economics, race issues, philosophy, and education.
ReplyDeleteAnd it's tea party in case you wish to get something correct.
Here is one more "racist's' opinion of Mr. Obama.http://econfaculty.gmu.edu/wew/articles/10/CanBlackAmericansAffordObama.htm
ReplyDeleteIs it not ironic that a posting regarding worsening race relations ends in a statement that labels a sect of people, and casts that sect in a negative light? We will never move beyond intolerance as long as people like on here continue to seperate and divide the American people in to different groups.
ReplyDeleteI'd like NAC to actually give examples of tea party participants making the situation worse.
ReplyDeleteThe media has tried repeatedly to find examples and have been unsuccessful.
It is people like NAC who continually spreads these falsehoods all while claiming they are more tolerant.
I read this story - it has nothing, whatsoever, to do with what Healthblogger insinuates. Same old crap from the sloppy thinking doc.
